Egg Timer
A digital recreation of the classic egg-shaped mechanical kitchen timer. The smooth white shell splits at the equator into a static lower bowl and a rotating upper cap. Twist the top to set your countdown - minute numerals print around the cap's rim and project with natural cylindrical foreshortening, compressing and fading as they wrap around the egg's curved surface. A fixed pointer on the lower half marks the remaining time. Warm eggshell enamel body, equatorial seam line, mechanical tick, and a bell alarm when time is up.
